Instructions for School IT Administrators
If your school would like students to save and submit files from their Google Drive or Google Classroom accounts instead of storing files locally on their devices, your Google Workspace administrator must authorize eSchoolware in the Google Admin console.
Once this configuration is complete, students in your Google Workspace domain will be able to access their Google Drive and submit files directly within eSchoolware assessments.
Configure Google Workspace Access:
- Sign into the Google Admin console (admin.google.com) using a Google Workspace or Classroom administrator account.
- From the navigation menu, go to Security → Access and data control → API Controls.
- Under App access control, select Manage App Access (this option may also appear as Manage Third-Party App Access).
- Click Configure new app.
- Search for the following OAuth Client ID:
| Setting | Value |
| OAuth Client ID | 794513910414-ld5jvj305i3dts4inppusuuvo0dfponj.apps.googleusercontent.com |
| App Name | eSchoolware |
- Select eSchoolware from the search results.
- Choose the appropriate organizational units or user groups that should have access, then click Continue.
- On the access level screen, choose Trusted, then click Continue.
- Review the configuration and click Finish (or Configure Access, depending on your Google Admin version) to save your changes.
Result
After the configuration has been applied, students in the authorized Google Workspace domain will be able to browse their Google Drive and attach files directly to eSchoolware assessment submissions.
Test with any demo student user within your eSchoolware institution to verify the connection.
